Scouting the Bears (3-8-1, 1-2-1 IVY):
- Brown started the season going 2-1 against nonconference opponents, but has since fallen to the most recent four.
- In the two nonconference wins, the Bears saw six players score goals and nine different players record at least one point. They will look to get back to that balanced offensive attack in this matchup.
- Holy Cross is having one of its best seasons in recent memory, having won five Patriot League games only once before over the last 19 seasons.
- Freshman Evan Jones has led the Crusaders with seven goals and six assists for 20 points. Senior Max Krause is second on the team with 15 points from four goals and seven assists.
- Brown is 10-1 all-time against Holy Cross, with the Crusaders only victory coming in the most recent game the two teams played.
- Holy Cross prevailed 1-0 in overtime in 2019 to claim its first win in series history.
