Men's water polo to play in Julian Fraser Memorial over the weekend.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown water polo will make the long trek across the country to play at the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament hosted by Santa Clara over the weekend. The Bears will play four games from Friday (Oct. 22) to Sunday (Oct. 24).

Brown will begin the tournament on Friday taking on Cal Baptist at 3:30 p.m. ET. The Bears will play two games on Saturday, facing off against Fresno Pacific at 12:50 p.m. ET and Air Force at 4:50 p.m. ET. The final game of the weekend will be a matchup against San Jose State on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. ET.

SCOUTING BROWN

Brown sits at 12-9 on the season and won three of four games at the Harvard Invitational last weekend. The lone loss was a 10-9 defeat to Wagner in the final game of the invitational.
The Bears are receiving votes in the CWPA Men's Varsity Top 20's latest poll. Brown will take on three ranked opponents, San Jose State is ranked No. 10, Cal Baptist comes in at 18 and Air Force sits at 19.
Connor Enright and Filip Aleksic were tied for the team lead with five goals each over the Harvard Invitational.
Enright leads the team with 34 goals on the season. Aleksic and Cole Atwell have each tallied 31 goals this year. Aleksic also leads the team in assists with 38 on the season.
Ugo Piovan leads the team in goal with 130 saves on the year.

SCOUTING CAL BAPTIST

Cal Baptist is 11-11 on the season and dropped its last match 17-7 to UC San Diego.
PJ McDonough is tops on the team with 49 goals. Zach Lowery leads the team in points with 21 goals and 39 assists.
Tristan Felberg has started 21 games and has made 198 saves, holding a .495 save percentage

SCOUTING FRESNO PACIFIC

Fresno Pacific is 5-14 on the year and is on a three-game losing streak.
The Firebirds play Cal Baptist and Harvard before playing Brown.
Brown beat Fresno Pacific 9-8 in the 2019 meeting.

SCOUTING AIR FORCE

Air Force is 16-3 on the year and has won its last four games, including a 13-12 overtime win over Santa Clara the last time in the pool.
Grant Snyder leads the team with 69 goals and is third on the team with 22 assists. Snyder is shooting .580 on the year and leads the team with 91 total points.
Ian Christie leads the team with 35 assists on the year.
Air Force beat Brown earlier this season 14-10 in Providence.

SCOUTING SAN JOSE STATE

San Jose State is 9-12 on the year, beating Whittier 13-9 in its last match to break a three-game losing streak.
The Spartans leading scorer is Bende Pardi, who has 47 points (31 goals, 16 assists).
