Rugby Set to Host Quinnipiac at Marvel Field Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's rugby team returns to Marvel Field to host the Quinnipiac Bobcats at 11 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 16).

Saturday's game will stream on ESPN+.

SCOUTING BROWN (2-1-1)

Brown enters Saturday's match with a 2-1-1 overall record. The Bears opened the season with a draw against Army before wins over Sacred Heart and LIU. Last weekend, Brown fell at Harvard to open Ivy League play.
Mahdia Parker leads the Bears with seven tries in 2021 with Zy Thomas close behind with six tries of her own.
Captain Olivia Duba leads the Bears with 10 conversions and is third on the team with 28 total points.

SCOUTING QUINNIPIAC (1-3)

Quinnipiac enters Saturday's match with a 1-3 overall record in 2021. The Bobcats opened the season with a 48-24 win over Sacred Heart before falling to Dartmouth (50-10), Army (39-0), and Harvard (60-24).
Kat Storey leads the Bobcats with five tries in four games, including two in Quinnipiac's most recent loss to Harvard. Seven other Bobcats have converted a try in 2021.
Abbey Terpstra leads Quinnipiac with four conversions.
The Bobcats finished the 2019 season with a 2-6 overall record, with wins coming over Penn State and Notre Dame College.

INSIDE THE SERIES

Saturday marks the sixth meeting between the Bears and Bobcats in series history. Quinnipiac owns a 5-0 record against Brown, with the last meeting coming in 2018.
