PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown University women's soccer will add midfielder/forward Kayla Duran, a junior transfer student-athlete from Boston College, to its roster for the fall of 2020, Brown head coach Kia McNeill announced on Tuesday.
"Kayla Duran is a big pick up for us and will help us be more dominant in the midfield, although she has experience playing up top and in the back as well," McNeill said. "She is a powerful and technically savvy player who plays with presence and shines in big moments. From the moment I met her, I knew Brown was the right place for her to continue her career on and off the field. She is competitive and hungry for success which explains why she has had such an accomplished career at the club, high school, and collegiate level so far. Her experience playing and thriving in the ACC is going to translate well here in the Ivy League."
