
Wrestling Drops Decisions to Penn, 20-19, No. 20 Princeton, 29-10

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior Trey Keeley earned an upset win over the No. 6 wrestler at 125 pounds, and sophomore Jack Bokina tallied two major decisions on the day, but Brown University wrestling dropped decisions to the University of Pennsylvania, 20-19, and No. 20 Princeton University, 29-10, on Saturday afternoon at the Pizzitola Sports Center.

In their first home meets of the year, the Bears (1-7, 1-6 EIWA, 0-3 Ivy) tied the Quakers (4-5, 3-1 EIWA, 1-0 Ivy) at 19-19 before falling on the tiebreaker – greater number of victories – and then dropped the second dual to the Tigers (4-4, 3-0 EIWA, 2-0 Ivy) – ranked No. 20 in Intermat's Dual Meet Rankings – in a pair of EIWA and Ivy matches.

"We wrestled hard today – Ivy League duals always have an added layer of intensity," Brown head coach Todd Beckerman said. "It was great to be able to honor our seniors with so many of our alumni and supporters here today."
