
Isaac, Labuda Earn Brown Student-Athlete of the Week Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Women's ice hockey senior goaltender Calla Isaac and men's swimming & diving sophomore diver Trevor Labuda have earned Brown University Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Jan. 13-19, Brown announced on Monday.

Calla Isaac, Women's Ice Hockey, Senior, Sherwood Park, Alberta
Senior goaltender Calla Isaac recorded her second career shutout and helped lead the women's hockey team to a season sweep over RPI on Saturday with a 2-0 win. The Sherwood Park, Alberta, native posted 35 saves in the shutout and reached the 30-save mark for the ninth time this season. Isaac turned away 19 shots in the second period and made a total of nine saves on the Engineers' three power-play chances in the game.

Trevor Labuda, Men's Swimming & Diving, Sophomore, Los Altos, Calif.
Sophomore diver Trevor Labuda broke the Brown 3-meter diving record on Saturday as the men's swimming & diving team defeated Columbia, 186-114, in its final home meet of the season. Labuda's score of 354 broke the previous record of 351.05 set in 1989. The Los Altos, Calif., native also took second in the 1-meter with a score of 301.5.
