Feature: Field Hockey 2019 Season Preview

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Senior captains Gina Openshaw (Annapolis, Md.), Hannah Leckey (Madison, Conn.) and Corinne Condie (St. Louis, Mo.) discuss the Brown field hockey team's preseason and give a look into what to expect this year. The 2019 campaign kicks off Saturday, Sept. 7 at 4:00 p.m. versus Bryant at Goldberger Family Field.

Brown will play three games in four days to open the year. In addition to the Bryant tilt on Friday, the Bears will also host Stanford on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 4:00 p.m. Splitting up the home contests is a game across town at Providence on Sunday, Sept. 8 (4:00 p.m.).

Video of all home contests and all Ivy League games, home and away, will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans can subscribe and view games by purchasing a monthly package for $4.99 or a yearly package for $49.99.
