#10 Women’s Squash Takes Down #14 Middlebury, 9-0

Boston, Mass. – The 10^thranked Brown women's squash team won seven of its nine matches by a 9-0 margin in defeating #14 Middlebury, 9-0, Saturday afternoon in a match played at Harvard. The Bears are now 6-3 overall.

"The team continues to play well up and down the ladder against a very competent Middlebury team," said head coach Stuart leGassick. "We are very happy with the way the team continues to compete hard."

Bears' sophomore Alexa Jacobs captured her match, 3-0, at the top of the ladder, followed by junior Hannah Seckendorf at number two, junior Isabel Young at three, freshman Abby Dichter at four, senior Katrina Northrop at five, freshman Isabella Kearns at six, junior Scarlett Bergam at seven, freshman Sara Syed at eight and sophomore Catherine Kimmell at nine.

The Bears will face Bowdoin on Saturday, January 26 at the Pizzitola Sports Center's Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion, starting at 12 noon.
