#10 Women’s Squash Cruises Past Bowdoin, 9-0

Providence, R.I. – The 10^thranked Brown women's squash team extended its record to 7-3 overall with a 9-0 win over #36 Bowdoin Saturday afternoon at the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion.

"Even with a couple of injuries the team played well throughout," said head coach Stuart leGassick. "They are working hard during their practices and it is showing in their competitive play on match day."

Brown captured all nine matches in straight sets with junior Isabel Young winning at number one, followed by junior Hannah Seckendorf, freshman Abagail Dichter, senior Katrina Northrop, freshman Isabella Kearns, junior Scarlett Bergam, sophomore Catherine Kimmel, junior Hannah Safford and freshman Naomi Shammash.

The Bears will be at Cornell and Columbia next weekend, facing the Big Red on Saturday, February 2 and the Lions on Sunday, February 3.
