PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown women's lacrosse senior midfielder Caroline Zaffino (Darien, Conn.) was named one of New England Lacrosse Journal's Top-10 Returning Midfielders to Watch by the organization on Friday.
Zaffino's first season with the Bears, after transferring from Boston College, saw her earn Second Team All-Ivy honors after setting Brown's single season record for draw controls with 82. She ranked fourth on the team in points (42) with 32 goals and 10 assists. Her 32 goals also ranked second on the team.
The Bears will open the 2019 season on Saturday, Feb. 16 at Quinnipiac starting at 1:00 p.m. Brown's first home contest of the year will be on Wednesday, March 6 at 6:00 p.m. versus Bryant.
