
Brown Men’s Basketball Welcomes the Class of 2022

Providence, R.I. - Brown men's basketball coach Mike Martin and his coaching staff will welcome five newcomers to campus in the fall with the announcement of the Brown Basketball Class of 2022. Brown's incoming class includes freshman guard Marco Carnes(Braintree, MA), freshman forward Davis Franks(New York, NY), freshman forward Jaylan Gainey(Goldsboro, MA), freshman forward David Mitchell(Roxbury, MA) and freshman guard Thomas Shaughnessy(Needham, MA).
"We are excited to add this group of young men to our program," said Martin. "There's very good talent in this class for sure, but we're also excited about the leadership qualities and character of this group. Blended with our strong returning nucleus, we believe the Class of 2022 can help our program continue to improve and compete for an Ivy League championship."
