
Baseball Welcomes Princeton for Weekend Series

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown baseball team will continue Ivy League play this weekend when the Bears host Princeton for a three-game set at Attanasio Family Field at Murray Stadium. The first game of Saturday's doubleheader will start at 11:30 AM. Sunday's finale will start at 1 PM and will be broadcast on the Ivy League Network.

Leading Off
- Brown is 2-4 in the Ivy League after playing two three-game sets against Penn and Yale.
- The Bears will kick off a seven-game homestand this weekend against Princeton.
- This is the first year of the new Ivy format. All Ivy teams will now play a 21-game league schedule without divisions, as each team will play three nine-inning games against all seven teams. The two teams with the best records will advance to the Ivy League Championship for a best-of-three series.

- Brown (6-13) dropped three games at Yale last weekend.
- Brown had three players hit over .300 in the series, led by Hunter Carey, who batted .625 with two RBIs.
- Calvin Farris and Garett Delano hit .429 and .385 against the Bulldogs, respectively.
- Rookie Collin Garner tossed a strong outing in game one against Yale, allowing just one earned run over 7.0 innings with five strikeouts and one walk. He held the Bulldogs to a .130 batting average and recorded 12 straight outs to end the outing.
