
Women's Tennis Falls at No. 21 Central Florida, 7-0

LAKE NONA, Fla. – The Brown women's tennis team was defeated by No. 21 Central Florida, 7-0, on Tuesday at the USTA National Campus Courts.
The Knights claimed second and first doubles to take the opening round. UCF then continued on to the singles round with six-straight wins for the victory. The Knights took matches one and two in order and then followed with fourth and third singles.
Junior Katie Ta (Mission Viejo, Calif.) (sixth) and freshman Courtney Kowalsky (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) (fifth) each pushed their second sets to seven but were not able to clinch the set.
The Bears will next open Ivy League play and travel to Yale on Saturday, March 31 for a 1:00 p.m. match.
