New Haven, CT – The 11th-ranked Brown women's squash team ran into a tough Yale squad on the Yale Campus, falling to the Bulldogs by a 9-0 margin Wednesday evening.
"Although the team lost 9-0 there were some competitive matches towards the bottom of the lineup with Hannah Safford losing, 3-2, and Scarlett Bergam, 3-1," said coach Stuart leGassick. "The team competed hard against a strong Ivy squad and are hoping that this tough match sets up nicely for a strong showing against George Washington on Friday."
Brown completes its first semester of competition on Friday, December 7 against George Washington at 6:00 pm in a match played at Trinity College.
