PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Head coach Grant Achilles of the Brown University baseball program has announced the team's schedule for the 2019 season, including 16 home games and a 21-game Ivy League slate.

Brown will play a 40-game schedule in 2019, including nine contests against opponents that played in the 2018 NCAA postseason.

The Bears will kick off the spring season with a three-game series at Louisville (Feb. 22-24), the first of three straight road sets, followed by trips to Presbyterian (March 1-3) and Jacksonville (March 8-10). Louisville won 45 games last season and joined Jacksonville in the NCAA Tournament.

Brown will open the home part of the schedule against Fairfield (March 15-17) with a four-game series at Attanasio Family Field at Murray Stadium. The Bears will continue the eight-game homestand against Yale (March 23-24) in the Ivy League opener, followed by a home-and-home series against Bryant.

After a pair of road sets at Penn (March 30-31) and Cornell (April 6-7), the Bears will host a single midweek game against Bryant (April 10), and then jump right back into league play with a series against Dartmouth (April 13-14) at home. From there, the Bears will head back out on the road at reigning Ivy champion Columbia (April 20-21) and Princeton (April 27-28).

Brown will play host to Maine (April 30) in midweek action before taking on Harvard (May 4-5) at home to wrap up the regular season.
