Elvin Earns Second Team All-Ivy Honors

Ivy League Release
PRINCETON, N.J. – Brown women's hockey senior goaltender Monica Elvin (Oakland, Calif.) was selected Second Team All-Ivy, as announced by the conference office on Friday.
Elvin finished Ivy League action with 10 games played and a .925 save percentage. She concluded the final weekend of the season with 2-0-0 record against conference opponents, Dartmouth and Harvard. In those two games, Elvin posted a 1.50 goals-against average and a .963 save percentage. In a 5-2 win at Dartmouth on Feb. 17, Elvin recorded 36 saves. The following night, a 3-1 victory over Harvard, the netminder stopped 42 shots and only allowed a power-play goal in the contest.
In her 10 Ivy games played on the year, Elvin recorded 30 or more saves in seven of them, including two 40+ save performances.
