Men's Soccer's Hagstrom Named All-Region

United Soccer Coaches All-East Teams

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Junior Jack Hagstrom (Middleton, Wis.) of the Brown men's soccer team was named to the United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-East Region Team, the organization announced on Friday.

Hagstrom, who was named to the Second Team, was one of eight Ivy League players to earn All-Region accolades. He previously earned All-East Second Team honors in 2015.

Hagstrom put together another standout season in 2017 as he earned First Team All-Ivy honors for the third straight season. The defender scored a goal against Harvard and anchored a Brown backline that ranked third in the league in goals allowed. Hagstrom also led the Bears in minutes played during Ivy games.

The Wisconsin native helped the Bears finish in the top three of the Ivy League standings for the third time in as many seasons. In addition, Brown has landed three All-Region selections in the past three years.
