
Men's Tennis Drops 4-2 Decision Against No. 49 Wisconsin

DES MOINES- Iowa – The Brown men's tennis team was defeated by No. 49 Wisconsin, 4-2, on Saturday.
The Badgers won the doubles point, winning first and second doubles. Freshman Charles Tan (Austin, Texas) and sophomore Jack Haworth (Corby, England) took home a victory in third doubles, 6-4.
For singles play, Brown posted two impressive wins in the outing, starting with sophomore Peter Tarwid (Lake Forest, Ill.), who won his third singles match, 7-6, 1-6, 6-0. Sophomore Anthony Arocho (Norridge, Ill.) posted his win in sixth singles, 6-3, 6-4.
The Bears next return home and host Illinois State and No. 60 St. John's on Friday, March 18 and Sunday, March 20, respectively. Friday's match will start at 4:00 p.m. while Sunday's will begin at 2:00 p.m.
