HANOVER, N.H. – The #65 Brown women's tennis team split all singles matches on Friday, but the doubles point loomed large in a 4-3 win for #35 Dartmouth at the Boss Tennis Center.

Brown falls to 9-9 overall and 2-3 in the Ivy play with the loss.

Facing an early 3-0 deficit, the Bears clawed back within 3-2 after wins from Alyza Benotto and Hannah Camhi, but Dartmouth's Julia Schroeder clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-3 win over the Bears' Ammu Mandalap.

Maddie Stearns added a late win to account for Brown's third point, a 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 triumph over Akiko Okuda.

In hotly contested double point, the Big Green prevailed in a tiebreaker as Taylor Ng/Kristina Mathis outlasted Brown's Dayna Lord/Alyza Benotto, 8-7 (6).

Brown returns to action on Sunday as they play host to Harvard beginning at 12 p.m.
