Women's Tennis Pulls Off 4-3 Upset Over #46 Columbia

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's tennis team scored a 4-3 upset win over #46 Columbia on Sunday at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
The Bears improve to 9-8 overall and even their Ivy record to 2-2 in the process.
The doubles point loomed large once again as Hannah Camhi/Maddie Stearns outlasted Kanika Vaidya/Rima Asatrian, 8-7 (4), while Nikita Uberoi/Ammu Mandalap notched a crucial 8-2 win over Alexandra Solovyev/Adi Milstein.
Dayna Lord and Alyza Benotto scored singles wins out of the top two slots, before Columbia rallied to make it a 3-2 contest after the fourth singles match. The Bears' Maddie Stearns clinched match with a 7-5, 6-4 triumph over Crystal Leung.
The Bears are back in action on Friday against #37 Dartmouth in Hanover, N.H.
