NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Brown men's swimming & diving team was defeated at Yale, 211-89, in an Ivy League dual meet to kick off the 2015-16 season.
"I was please with the performances of our team," said head coach Chris Ip. "A lot of freshman received their first taste of Ivy League competition. We lost many close races by a touch."

Fellow sophomore Riley Springman (Orlando, Fla.) later followed and won the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:50.46. Springman also placed second in both the 100 butterfly (50.98) and the 200 IM (1:54.19).
