"I thought our passing game looked great today," said head coach Jill Reeve. "Our seniors really stepped up and led the team to a convincing win."
Prior to the start of the game, Miller, Rogers, Arciero, Anna Masini (Ann Arbor, Mich.) and student manager Cally Moran were honored in a pregame ceremony for all of their contributions over the past four years.
Brown (7-9) scored its first score of the game at 10:02 in the first half when Miller buried a shot during a penalty corner. Arciero and Masini teamed up for the assists.
Junior Katarina Angus (West Vancouver, British Columbia) added Brown's second goal at 43:58 in the second off of another penalty corner with Arciero and Masini again recording the helpers. Rogers closed out the scoring for the Bears at 63:33 when she deflected Arciero's pass from the high arc into the net past Lehigh (5-13) goalkeeper Julia Ward.
Freshman Katie Hammaker (Ephrata, Pa.) registered her first-career shutout and made five saves in the contest while Ward of Lehigh tallied six saves.
Brown dominated the first half offense, recording 10 shots to Lehigh's one. The Mountain Hawks edged the Bears in shots in the second half, 9-7, as Hammaker made all of her five saves in the stanza to keep Lehigh off the board.
For the game, Brown had the advantage in penalty corners, 11-6.
With their performances in the game, Miller, Rogers and Arciero all move up in the record books at Brown.
