USA Water Polo will field three teams – Red, White, and Blue – which will square off against four club teams in National League play beginning on Jan. 10-11 at Segerstrom High School in Santa Ana, Calif.
A native of Pasadena, Calif., Klein enjoyed a standout season in 2014, earning CWPA First Team All-North honors and helping Brown win its first CWPA title since 1985. Klein scored the game-winning goal in the Bears' CWPA title game win, allowing the team to advance to the NCAA Championships for the first time since 1990.
The Pasadena High School product drew a team-high 122 ejections this past fall, gaining CWPA All-Tournament Second Team accolades. He recorded four or more exclusions drawn in each of 19 games and ranked fifth on the team with 39 goals.
Klein stands as one of two active players in the Collegiate Water Polo Association to claim a spot on a national team roster. Bucknell's Jeff Hagen represents the CWPA's other player on the teams.
The three USA squads contain some of the top high school and collegiate talent from programs around the country. Members of the USA National Team pipeline coaching staff will coach the teams including Alex Rodriguez leading USA Red, Jack Kocur leading USA White, and Brett Ormsby leading USA Blue.
