Bernstein and Tanenbaum to Compete at World Maccabiah Games

Bernstein and Tanenbaum were named to the 11-man squad following the open team selection tournament in Beachwood, Ohio. The third-largest international sporting event in the world, the Maccabiah Games draws more than 7,000 athletes from 60 countries and features high-level competition in 34 sports.
Bernstein put together an impressive sophomore campaign for the Bears at 184 pounds as he qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second straight season after placing third at the EIWA Championship. Bernstein, who was named Second Team All-Ivy, picked up a win in the consolation round at NCAAs.
Tanenbaum competed primarily at 149 pounds this past season but also saw time at 141 pounds in a total of eight matches. Tanenbaum picked up a key victory in the team's win over Cleveland State and also earned a pair of wins at the Keystone Classic.
