Craig Kinsley Earns 12th in Javelin Prelims at NCAA Championship

Des Moines, IA- Senior Craig Kinsley, last year's NCAA javelin championship, ended this year's championship with a throw of 229-9 to earn 12th in the preliminary round, as only the top nine advanced into the final round.
Kinsley, a team captain, had a terrific senior season earning First Team All-Ivy honors in the javelin at the Outdoor Heptagonal Championships and received Brown University's Fritz Pollard Award at the third annual Senior Celebration. The award is presented to the outstanding male varsity athlete of the year.
Senior teammate Brynn Smith will compete for the Bears at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10 in the hammer throw.
