Taylor Gorman Named to TopDrawerSoccer's Team of the Week

Providence, RI- Junior midfielder Taylor Gorman (Freeport, ME) has been named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's Men's Soccer Team of the Week after his outstanding performance to help the Brown men's soccer team advance to the Third Round of the NCAA Tournament.

Gorman scored his third goal of the season in just the eighth minute of play on Sunday afternoon in Storrs, Conn., in the second round of the NCAA tournament. The midfielder blasted a shot past UConn goalkeeper Josh Ford to give the Bears a 1-0 edge, a lead it held for most of the game.

The Brown soccer team is back in action this Sunday at 4:30 p.m. EST when it takes on No. 6-seeded California.
