Brown University completed a state-of-the-art indoor golf facility in 2016 located in the Olney-Margolies Athletic Center that is utilized by both the men's and women's golf teams.
Highlighting the facility are five areas for hitting, along with a putting and chipping area. With netting of the walls behind the entire space, the teams can use Flight Scope, a technology to track the dispersion rate of the golf ball flight within 50 feet.
A contoured, peanut shaped green, 50-feet long by 18-feet wide, has three different slopes and three different types of turf for chipping, to make it an amazing putting green that rolls smooth and fast.
The 7,000 square foot facility was designed by Keepers Turf, who also designed similar facilities at Ohio State and Notre Dame.
