2012: Earned a spot as the starting goalkeeper for the Bears as a freshman…Recorded 296 saves in 878 minutes of action…Logged an 7.55 goals against average…Also tallied eight assists and 21 steals…Earned a spot on the 2012 CWPA All-South first team…Was named the CWPA Southern Division Defensive Player of the Week on February 21 and again on March 13…Was also named to the 2012 ACWPC All-Academic team.
Before Brown: A four-year varsity goalkeeper for Castillejas and a two-time All-CCS selection…Earned second team All-County in Santa Clara, and was a two-time San Jose Mercury News all-star selection…An All-American 16U 2009 Jr. Olympic honoree, she was a 2010 Jr. National Training team member and a Positive Coaching Alliance Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship Winner, as well as a USA Water Polo Academic All-American for two seasons…Her high school squad reached both the CCS finals and the semi-finals twice, and were the 2009-10 CIF Academic Team Champions…As a member of the Pacific Zone Team (ODP) and Stanford club team, she won various medals at the Junior Olympics, including a gold medal at the 2010 Regional Championships, a bronze medal at the 2009 Youth Championships, a silver medal at the 2008 Youth Championships and a bronze medal in the gold flight at the 2008 Junior Olympics.
