Before Brown: Three-time track and field Team MVP…Two-time Cross Country Team MVP…Four-time scholar-athlete…Graduated as Crean Lutheran’s record holder in the 800 meters (2:17.42 in 2021)…2022 Crean Lutheran Scholar-Athlete of the Year…National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and National Science Honor Society member.
Personal: Daughter of Tammy and John Brenner…Has a brother, Conner, and a sister Mandy, who is a member of the swimming and diving team at Harvard…Her father John was the 1984 NCAA national champion in the discus and shot put, the U.S. national champion in the shot put in 1986 and 1987, and won bronze in the shot put at the 1987 World Championships…Her uncle, Hoby played for the New Orleans Saints from 1981-1993 and was a Pro Bowl selection in 1987.
Why Brown?: “I loved the atmosphere at Brown and how nice everyone is. I also loved that you can take whatever class you want to and really explore all career paths. It's also a plus that the campus is beautiful.”
