Meet Emi Smith, a dynamic force in the lacrosse realm whose passion and expertise have propelled her to the forefront of the sport. Currently serving as a distinguished coach for Revolution Lacrosse since 2023, Emi continues to make significant strides in shaping the future of lacrosse.
Beyond the lacrosse field, Emi boasts a multifaceted career, excelling as a Business Support Manager at RCS Wealth while simultaneously leaving her mark as a coach. With a wealth of experience, Emi previously served as an Assistant Coach at UC Davis from 2016 to 2018, where her mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping the team's success.
However, it's Emi's remarkable journey as a player that truly sets her apart. As an All-American goalkeeper at Penn State, Emi etched her name into the records of lacrosse history. Over her four seasons, Emi started an impressive 73 games, amassing 485 saves while allowing only 673 goals for an extraordinary .485 average and a formidable 10.10 GAA.
The accolades speak volumes of Emi's excellence on the field. In 2015, she earned Third-team IWLCA All-America honors, in addition to being named First-Team All-Region and Big Ten Goaltender of the Year. Her exceptional performance also garnered her three Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week awards, showcasing her consistent dominance.
Emi was instrumental in securing pivotal NCAA Tournament victories over esteemed opponents such as Johns Hopkins and UVA. Her stellar performance led to her inclusion on the Tewaarton Award Watch List and earned her Preseason All-American honors, further solidifying her status as one of the nation's top goalkeepers.

Outside of her collegiate endeavors, Emi has been a dedicated coach for Team 180, a prestigious club based in Denver, CO, from 2013 to 2016, and again from 2019 to 2022. Her commitment to nurturing young talents underscores Emi's passion for cultivating the next generation of lacrosse stars.
