Personal: Daughter of Erin Vali and Kimani Paul-Emilie…Has a sister, Oona who is on the cross country/track and field teams at Wesleyan…Both of her parents graduated from Brown in the Class of 1993 and were members of the track and field teams…Her mother Kimani was inducted into the Brown Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000.
