2023-24: Coxed the Third Varsity 8 to first place finishes at both the Ivy League Championships (May 18) and the Eastern Sprints (May 5) … Coxed the 3V at the Ivy Invite (Apr. 12-13) and in the win at Cornell (Apr. 27) … Coxed the B4 against Princeton (Mar. 30).
2022-23: Coxed the B4 for the majority of the season ... Helped the B4 to silver at Eastern Sprints and Bronze at the Ivy League Championships ... Coxed the third varsity 8 to a win against Cornell.
2021-22: Coxed the 3V8 crew to first at the Eastern Sprints and second at the Ivy Championships … Coxed the same boat to the win over Radcliffe (Apr. 3).
Before Brown: Graduated with high honors from Whitefish Bay High School ... Rowed with Women's Junior Rowing under coach Roger Huffman ... Stroked the Women's Junior Novice 8+ to a first-place victory at Midwest Junior Championships in 2017.Rowed in the 1V8+ her Junior and Senior year. Rowed in the Women's Junior 1V 4+ at the Head of the Charles in 2018 and 2019.
Personal: Daughter of David Dragseth and Jennifer Hockenbery ... Father rowed at Dartmouth College from 1989-93 and competed on the 1993 U.S. National Team ... Has one older brother, Luke, and one younger sister, Hope.
Why Brown? "I chose Brown University because of its creative and competitive, yet welcoming environment. I value the artistic nature of the University and its proximity to RISD where I can take courses to explore the relationship between Math and Apparel Design."
