Women’s Crew’s Levine ’24 Takes Bronze with U.S. Women’s Eight at 2026 World Championships

AMSTERDAM – Brown University women's crew alumna Dahlia Levine '24 and the U.S. women's eight took the bronze medal at the 2026 World Rowing Championships, placing third in the A final on Sunday in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Levine and the U.S. opened racing with a win in heat two on Saturday, claiming first with a time of 6:01.63. The crew topped second-place Romania (6:03.41) and three other boats in the heat.

In the A final on Sunday, the U.S. came in third behind a time of 5:53.76, trailing only first-place Romania (5:51.88) and second-place Great Britain (5:52.76).

Levine previously represented the U.S. at the U23 level, winning silver in the eight at the 2024 World Rowing U23 Championships and capturing gold in the eight at the 2023 World Rowing U23 Championships. She also won the eight at the 2022 Henley Women's Regatta and won the Island Challenge Cup at the 2022 Henley Royal Regatta.

During her time at Brown, Levine earned CRCA First Team All-America accolades as a junior and senior, while also capturing All-Ivy honors three times, including First Team All-Ivy plaudits in 2022 and 2024. Levine raced with the Bears' varsity eight over each of her final three seasons, finishing fifth at the 2024 NCAA Championships.
