2016 Outdoor: Placed fifth in the hammer throw (197-4) and ninth in the shot put at the Ivy League Championship … sixth in the shout put at the IC4A Championship … won the hammer and took third in the shot put at the Brown Springtime Open … runner-up in the shot put and hammer, and fourth in the discus, at the Ocean State Invite … third in the shout put and hammer at the Mark Young Invite … sixth in the hammer at the High Point VertKlasse Meeting.

2015-16 Indoor: Posted second-place finishes in the shot put (51-1.5) and the weight throw (60-0.25) at the 30th Brown University Alden Invitational … Finished in ninth in both the shot put and the weight throw at the Ivy League Indoor Championships.

2015 Outdoor: Placed fourth in the hammer throw (193-3) and 11th (50-3.5) in the shot put at the Ivy League Championship … posted seven top-five finishes during the season … also competed in the discus.

2014-15 Indoor: Finished third in the weight throw (59-8.25) and fifth in the shot put (55-1.5) at the Ivy League Indoor Championship … won the weight throw (51-10.5) and the shot put (59-1.25) at the Brown University Alden Invitational.

2014 Outdoor: Placed fifth overall in the hammer at the Ivy Championships … also took 13th in the shot put at the Ivy Championships … placed 17th in the hammer at the IC4A Championships … won the hammer throw at the Brown Invitational … posted three top-three finishes during the season.

2013-14 Indoor: Competed at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships in both the weight throw and shot put, recording a 12^th place finish in the shot put … Finished first in the shot put at the Alden Invitational with a throw of 48’ 10.25” … Also recorded a second place finish in the weight throw with a toss of 54’ 0” … Recorded a personal best in the shot put, 51’ 11.25”, at the URI Invitational … Recorded a personal record and the victory in the weight throw at the Brown University Invitational with a throw of 57’ 5.75”.

2012-13: Finished 11^th in both the shot put and hammer throw at the Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Championships…Took second in hammer at the Brown Springtime Open…Finished 13^th in both the shot put and weight throw at Indoor Heps.

Before Brown: A graduate of Riverside Poly School, Matthew O’Hara lettered in both track and football… Named first team All-Big VIII Academic for football in 2010 and 2011, second team All-League Offensive Line in 2010 and first team All-League Offensive Line for 2011… On the track, O’Hara holds the high school record for throwing (53’6”1/2) as well as the Big VIII shot put record at 6 feet… Named All-League Academic and All-CIF Academic in both 2011 and 2012… Served as senior class Vice President, Boys State Delegate in 2011, and a member of Honor Roll all four years.
