Bio
The transformation of a boy to a man is a rewarding one to watch and experience. Few have done this as dramatically as Jason has, both with his on-campus activities and his lacrosse game. No one works harder than Jason with his academic work or with outreach programs: Jason is starting his own non-profit service organization. On the field, he has started to develop into a well-rounded midfielder. He has added a good passing repertoire to his already strong dodge-and-shoot game...2008: Played in 10 games for the Bears, registering four shots...Picked-up a ground ball vs. Air Force...Secondary School Background: A graduate of the Landon School where he lettered in lacrosse (4), soccer (3), and wrestling (3)...Lacrosse team captain as a senior...Received the Jack Crawford Award as Landon's top midfielder...Fabulous 40 All-Star as a sophomore...Participated in the STX Blue-Chip Camp...Two-year Honor Roll student and Dean's List...Personal: The son of Chris and Diane Pohanka of Alexandria...Has a brother, Nick, and a sister, Blake...Enjoys lifting weights, reading and hanging out with friends...COE concentrator (Economics Track).
