The senior is playing like a seasoned veteran: James has a very good grasp of both the team’s slide schemes and his own strengths and limitations. As we employed various slide packages in the fall, James quickly gained a keen understanding of his role in them and he asserted himself as one of our best sliders and communicators. On the ball, James has learned how to funnel athletic dodgers and takeaway their primary move.
