PERSONAL: Son of Rob and Karen Laferriere … Has four siblings: Sophie, Alex, Jack, and Phoebe … Alex is a sophomore on the Harvard men’s hockey team … Father played hockey at Princeton and Boston College … Enjoys playing hockey and golf in his spare time.
WHY BROWN?: I chose Brown because of the blend of elite academics and athletics. To be able to compete at the highest level of lacrosse all while receiving an Ivy League education is a dream come true. The brand new facilities, open curriculum, location in Providence, and sense of community were all also factors in my decision.
