What happens when you have proven yourself as a reliable andconsistent performer at one position, yet you are willing to dowhatever is asked of you for the greater good of the program? You find yourself, as Dan is doing now, carrying both a short andlong stick to practice and training at two positions. Aleader and team captain, Dan has always maintained a team-firstattitude while playing the demanding position of short-stickdefensive midfielder. This year we have asked him to bringmore experience to our close defense as well. Dan knows whatit means to make the required plays without much fanfare ondefense.
