You find yourself, as Dan is doing now, carrying both a short andlong stick to practice and training at two positions. Aleader and team captain, Dan has always maintained a team-firstattitude while playing the demanding position of short-stickdefensive midfielder. This year we have asked him to bringmore experience to our close defense as well. Dan knows whatit means to make the required plays without much fanfare ondefense.
