Aaron Leeds joined the Brown Men's Lacrosse staff in October 2022 and enters his second season with the program in 2024.
Brown finished the 2023 season with a 6-8 record and 2-4 Ivy League mark with three of those losses coming by a single goal. Five Bears, including First Team All-Ivy Matthew Gunty, picked up postseason Ivy League honors. Additionally, Gunty and Devon McLane picked up USILA Scholar All-American honors as the Bears posted another strong season in the classroom.
Leeds was a four-year member of the Salisbury University lacrosse program, graduating in 2017 with a degree in Exercise Science.
“I’m excited to announce the addition of Aaron Leeds to the staff and welcome him to Brown University,” said Daly. “Coach Leeds brings a wealth of experience to Brown from his time as a player and coach at Salisbury and RPI and will be an excellent fit with our program and culture. I have tremendous respect for Coach Berkman and his Championship Culture and feel strongly in Coach Leeds ability to help bring that to our program.”
Following his collegiate career, Leeds spent one season as an assistant lacrosse coach at Ferrum College before serving as an assistant for two seasons at RPI in Troy, New York.
In 2020, Leeds returned to Salisbury as a graduate assistant coach and helped the Sea Gulls capture consecutive Coast-to-Coast Conference Championships. Salisbury reached the 2021 National Championship game, falling to RIT.
Leeds earned his Master of Education in Post-Secondary Education in 2022 from Salisbury.
As a player, Leeds captained Salisbury as a senior in 2017 and led the Sea Gulls to their second straight National Championship while picking up All-Conference and All-America honors as a defenseman.
