Andrew Becil joined the Brown men's basketball coaching staff as the operations coordinator in May 2026.
Becil joins the Bears after spending the last two seasons as a Graduate Assistant with the Quinnipiac men’s basketball program. At Quinnipiac, Becil worked as the video coordinator while working in player development with the Bobcats.
Becil produced and presented film breakdowns for opponent scouting reports, postgame analysis, and game prep. He also led offseason player development through individual and small-group workouts, Quinnipiac had five All-MAAC performers with Becil on the coaching staff.
Operationally, Becil assisted in recruiting operations and team logistics such as meal planning, and team travel. He also oversaw 18 student managers at Quinnipiac, maintaining a monthly schedule to ensure practices, games, and road trips were staffed properly.
Becil was also the Head Coach with the Rens United 17u, where he facilitated college recruitment of all players on the roster. He also served as an assistant coach at Wilbraham and Monson Academy.
Becil received his bachelor's degree from Indiana in 2021 and received his master’s degree from Quinnipiac in May.
