Before Brown: Spent the 2011-12 season playing for the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League (USHL) … Appeared in 50 regular season games for the Black Hawks, scoring 14 goals and registering 28 assists, a number that had him ranked in the top 25 for assists in the USHL … Played a key role in the Black Hawks’ run for the Clark Cup, earning 8 points (3g, 5a), a total that ranked among the top ten in the league for playoff scoring … Recipient of the 2012 “Unsung Hero” award for Waterloo … Played hockey at Avon Old Farms from 2008-2011, captaining the team during the 2010-2011 season … Recorded 94 points (36g, 58a) in 81 career games played at the school and was honored as MVP for a season … Helped lead the team to the 2010 New England Prep School Championship Title … Named to the All-New England Prep School Team during his senior season with Avon.
Personal: Mark Allan Naclerio is the son of Joseph and Holly Naclerio of Bridgeport, Connecticut … Has two brothers, Craig, a student at UConn, and Eric, a student at Connecticut College … Was a member of the National Honor Society, earned a spot on the Dean’s List for three years and was also selected for the Headmaster’s List at Avon Old Farms … A member of the Order of Old Farms and a recipient of the Yale Book Award … Also played a year of JV lacrosse and a year of JV baseball while at Avon … Works as a camp counselor for youth hockey camps during the summer … Interests: Going to the beach, reading and playing golf … Concentration: Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations.
