ECAC Releases 2026-27 Men’s Hockey Preseason Poll

Quinnipiac was picked to finish first after earning 10 first-place votes and 120 points overall. Last season, the Bobcats earned an at-large bid to the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship in the Sioux Falls Regional, before falling to North Dakota.
Dartmouth, the defending 2026 ECAC Hockey Men's Champion, was picked to finish second with two first-place votes and 110 total points.
Cornell, Clarkson, Harvard and Union rounded out the top half of the league.
Princeton was selected seventh, followed by RPI, Colgate, St. Lawrence, and Brown, with Yale rounding out the poll.
The Bears open up their 2026 campaign and ECAC play on Friday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. at Yale.
