Daniel Modelski has been named the Defensive Quality Control coach at Brown, coming to College Hill from Northwestern, where he was Scouting Assistant and assisted the Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach.
A 2017 graduate of Illinois College in Jacksonville, FL, with a B.A in Communications and Rhetorical Studies, Modelski was a Dean’s List student and won the Student-Athlete Scholar Award as a varsity football player. He’s a native of Hoffman Estates, IL, who attended Conant High School, where he was a two-year starter at quarterback and earned Illinois High School Coaches Association All-State honors.
Modelski worked with Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach Mick McCall at Northwestern and had myriad duties, including unofficial and official visits, video and breakdown of NFL film for the offensive staff. He coached quarterbacks at the Northwestern Prospect Showcase Camps, and coached quarterbacks technique and fundamentals at the Throw it Deep Passing academy.
