Personal: Anisha is the daughter of Jayashree and Srinandan Kasi … Has two siblings, Nithya and Sanjay … Came to Brown as a freshman in high school as part of the Summer@Brown program, which led her to due extensive research in vision science, including traveling to Chennai, India and first-authoring a published review paper … Plays the piano … Plans to concentrate in Neuroscience.

I knew Brown would be the ideal place for me to explore my interests in neuroscience, through classes taught by renowned professors and interdisciplinary research opportunities in the Carney Brain Institute. Brown's fencing team was a large factor in my desire to come to Brown because of Coach Ripa and his goals for the program, the team's camaraderie, and my excitement about fencing at the collegiate level.”
