Erickson Athletic Complex Field Use Policies
Athletics facilities are to be used for athletics and recreational purposes only, unless there is permission to use them for another purpose. This includes all Brown athletic facilities within the Erickson Athletic Complex as well as Marvel Field and Brown Stadium.
- No food/alcohol outside of designated tailgate space (parking lots)
- No dogs or other pets/animals (exceptions for assistance dogs)
- No sharp objects such as javelins, tent stakes, corner flags or metal spiked cleats
- No golfing
- No sports drink, soda, coffee or any other staining drink out on the fields (water only)
- No parking in fire lanes or unmarked parking spots
- No jumping fences/walls to gain access to athletic fields
Failure to adhere to the above policies will result in loss of privileges
Additionally, all users of Brown's Athletic Fields should be Brown University ID Holders. Exceptions to this rule include:
- Outside groups, camps or clubs that have entered into a Facility Use Agreement with the Department of Athletics
- Participants in a Brown University Athletic Clinic
- Opposing teams, coaches and staff as well as officials/referees for varsity or club sport contests
- Spectators for varsity, club sport or intramural contests
Recreation IDs do not gain access to the athletic fields. The fields within the Erickson Complex as well as Brown Stadium and Marvel Field are not part of our recreation offerings. To see a complete list of facilities included in our recreation membership, please go to www.brownrec.com.
