Field Hockey Hosts Columbia on Friday, Travels to UMass Lowell on Sunday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown field hockey team (3-3, 0-1 Ivy League) will welcome Columbia (3-3, 0-1 Ivy League) on Friday before traveling to UMass Lowell (4-4, 0-0 America East) on Sunday.
Scouting Brown
Brown will look to win its first Ivy League game of the season after losing to Yale (Sept. 18) in its Ivy League opener in a shootout. The Bears bounced back with a 4-3 overtime win over Providence (Sept. 20) in its most recent contest.
The Bears are 3-1 at home this season and have won three-straight home games, Brown is 9-2 at home over its last two seasons. Mia Karine Myklebust leads the Bears with four goals, Ellie Parker made 17 saves in two games last weekend.Â
Scouting Columbia
The Lions will look to snap a two-game losing streak after falling to Cornell in its Ivy League opener (Sept. 18), and losing 2-1 to Quinnipiac (Sept. 20).
Jacinta Solari Etcheberry leads the Lions with six goals and four assists on the season.
Scouting UMass Lowell
The River Hawks are 3-0 at home this season, outscoring their opponents 15-1 at Wicked Blue Field.
Alexa Guarneri leads UMass Lowell with six goals, Alice van Hemelen is second with four goals and two assists.

Brown is 14-14 all-time against Columbia and have won three-straight contests. Brown is 2-3 all-time against UMass Lowell, the Bears defeated the River Hawks 4-0 last season at Goldberger Family Field.
