Gymnastics Ties for Third in GEC Preseason Poll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown gymnastics team had been picked tied for third in the 2026 Gymnastics East Conference Preseason Poll.
Defending champion Penn earned seven of the eight first place votes, followed by Yale with one first place tally. Brown and Cornell tied for third.

The Bears will open up the 2026 season on Sunday, January 11 when they will host Rhode Island College, Southern Connecticut State and Springfield for a quad meet at the Pizzitola Sports Center. Tickets for all home meets are available now at BrownBears.com/tickets.
Last season, Brown finished sixth at the GEC Championship meet. Brown had nine gymnasts combine for 10 All-GEC awards, with seven of those gymnasts returning in 2026. Junior Emily Ford returns after winning the Ivy Classic title on beam. Graduated senior Maya Davis qualified for NCAA Regionals on floor last season and was named the GEC Specialist of the Year.
