Sailing Announces 2026 Spring Schedule

The Bears will open their season on Saturday, Feb. 28 with three events slated for that weekend. The open sailing team will host the Liam O'Keefe Trophy Team Race, and compete in the Thames River Team Race at Connecticut College. The women's sailing team will compete at the Harvard Women's Team Race.
Brown will host four events this spring, beginning with the Liam O'Keefe Trophy Team Race on opening weekend. The women's team will host the Dellenbaugh Women's Team Race Trophy on March 28-29. The Bears will host two conference championships in the spring with the NEISA Open Team Race Championship on April 4-5, and NEISA Open Fleet Race Championship on April 18-19. All of Brown's home events will take place at the Ted Turner '60 Pavilion located at the Edgewood Yacht Club in Cranston, R.I.
Other conference championship dates include the NEISA Women's Team Race Championship at Tufts from April 11-12, and the NEISA Women's Championship at the United States Coast Guard Academy on April 18-19.Â
The 2026 season will close out with the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) National Championships, running through the end of April to May. The ICSA Open (Apr. 23-25) and Women's (Apr. 26-27) Team Racing National Championships will be held at Tulane. The ICSA Women's (May 15-18) and Open (May 19-22) Fleet Race National Championship Semifinals and Finals will be hosted by USF.
