Ilias Stothart Named NWPC Player of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's water polo senior Ilias Stothart was named NWPC Player of the Week after guiding the Bears to three wins to start the season.

Stothart earned his fourth-career Player of the Week honors after scoring 27 goals last weekend. The senior started his week scoring seven goals in the season-opening win over Gannon before tallying nine goals in a win over Wagner.

Stothart netted eight goals in an exhibition against Pacific to close out the weekend.

The Los Angeles, Calif., native also added three assists and drew 14 exclusions.
