Three Players Earn First Singles Wins on Day Two of Dartmouth Fall Foliage Festival

HANOVER, N.H. - The Brown women's tennis team secured three singles wins in day two of the Dartmouth Fall Foliage Festival.

While the team did not secure a doubles victory, the Bears maintained their focus, keeping the score close to their opponents throughout the day.

Three players earned their first singles tournament victories of the season. Hannah Shen won in a 10-point breaker at the third line against Boston College's Tola Glowacka. Bella Hu notched her win at the fifth line over Bella Camacho. Ali Maguy secured her victory at the sixth line against Olivia Cutone.

Reflecting on today's performance, Broadbent Family Head Coach Lucie Schmidhauser commented, "We did a much better job in singles, staying mentally engaged in and battling for every point. Hannah did a great job staying focused on her performance goals and outcompeting a tough opponent."
